Recently, “Development and Industrialization of Rail Transit Waterborne Coating System”, a R&D project of Yatu, was successfully selected into “The Major Science and Technology Projects List of Jiangmen City in 2021”, released by Jiangmen Science and Technology Bureau and obtained certain government funding. Government gives priority to support major science and technology projects, which involving high-tech enterprises, frontier subjects of Industry-University-Research cooperation, core technology research projects, industrial technology development breakthrough, etc. Based on deep research in rail transit filed for over four years, Yatu has increasingly become competitive in product development, performance optimization and process flow improvement of waterborne coatings.
In 2021, Yatu high-performance waterborne environmentally friendly metallic paint and waterborne clearcoat were successfully applied to transit vehicles and delivered perfectly. Nowadays, waterborne environmentally friendly personalized painting has become a new favorite of rail transit equipment, while Hefei Metro Line 1, produced by CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd., proved it. Aims to promote intercity rail transit construction (ICRT), boost infrastructure interconnection of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and advance rapid development of intercity rail transit network, Yatu waterborne coating products were applied on Intercity Multiple Units of CSR Guangdong Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., which became a brilliant scenery in the Greater Bay Area.
